INFORMATION WE RECEIVE:
Avenue Title provides title insurance and settlement services for real estate transactions. In order to better serve your needs now and in the future, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal and confidential information. In providing these services, we receive information about you and your transaction from applications, forms and possibly other communications to us from numerous sources, including but not limited to you, your lender and affiliated companies, an attorney or real estate broker and consumer reporting agencies. In providing these services, we obtain copies of many types of documents, including but not limited to, deeds, notes, loan applications, or mortgages. We may receive this information from you or from the lender, attorney, or real estate broker that you have chosen. Directly or indirectly, we may obtain information from numerous other sources in order to prepare a title insurance policy, including but not limited to, a consumer reporting agency, public records about the property and public records about parties to the transactions. In providing closing, escrow and settlement services, we may receive additional information from third parties including appraisals, credit reports, land surveys, escrow account balances, and bank account numbers. Information collected may depend upon the services or products provided. Information collected may include, but is not limited to: Driver’s License Numbers; Social Security Numbers; Phone Numbers; Property and Mailing Address (es); Account Numbers, including bank accounts and mortgage accounts; Birthdates.
USE OF INFORMATION WE RECEIVE:
Other than described above, we do NOT disclose nonpublic personal and financial information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law or with your permission. We restrict access to nonpublic, personal and financial information about you exclusively to those employees who need said information to provide services for you. We maintain a strict internal policy as it relates to effective data security to protect the rights and privacy of every customer. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. Even after our business relationship ceases, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice. We may, however, store such information indefinitely, including the period after which any customer relationship has ceased. Such information may be used for limited internal purposes, such as quality control efforts or customer analysis. We may also provide all of the types of nonpublic, personal and financial information listed above to one or more of our affiliated companies on an as needed basis in order provide the requested service. Such affiliated companies include financial services providers, such as title insurers, property and casualty insurers, and trust and investment advisory companies, or companies involved in real estate services, such as appraisal companies, home warranty companies, settlement services companies and escrow companies.

Our Website uses firewalls to protect our computer systems and your information. Firewalls act as a selective barrier by only permitting certain types of traffic through to our systems.
All registered users are required to login using their own Username and their own unique Password. The registered user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Username and Password and shall be responsible for all use of the Website through their Username and Password. There is a single administrator password that allows access to customer profile information. The dialogue used to transfer files from computer to computer is password protected and the relational database management system is also password protect. All input data is automatically sanitized by the system and all user input is validated server-side to prevent unauthorized use of the system.
